Emotional Disorder

Actually, the term 'emotional disorder' is not too scientific, that's why it's better to call these phenomena happening in the world of your emotional condition 'psychological disorder'. Other 'unofficial' names given to psychological disorders are mood or anxiety disorders.
What can cause emotional disorders? Cases are different here: sometimes psychological disorders are caused by certain physical conditions which lead to extra worries, restlessness, tension, fatigue, lack of concentration and other various signs. These 'physical conditions' are associated either with certain diseases (e.g. cancer) or injuries due to accidents (post-traumatic stress etc.) In many cases emotional disorders visit people who abuse drugs or alcohol – at the moments when they feel that they are dependent on these dreadful substances (withdrawal).
Sometimes certain medications can lead to emotional disorders – if a person takes them not in accordance with the dosage pointed out by his/her doctor.
As for the main signs of psychological disorders, they are continuous depressions, anxiety, fatigue, lack of desire to eat at least something; all this usually results in poor sleep (sleep disorders), suicidal thoughts, shaky nerves etc.
Main types of anxiety disorders are phobias, separation anxiety, panic attacks etc. As for phobias, they deal with certain object or process or substance – anything that you strongestly avoid approaching or dealing with. Separation anxiety is characterized by someone's excessive fear of parting with one's home or someone he/she is very close to.
Remember that emotional disorders are possible to cure. That's why it's vitally important to track them down and deal with them as soon as possible. Prevent them if it's not too late, if it is – get rid of them with the help of a professional.
